Palestine is the name the Romans gave to the area following the Jewish revolt of the first century. It's another name for Israel (Judea and Samaria), not the name of any Arab country. This book like many in others the historical revision category is part of the decades-old PR war against Israel --- 100% lies. It negates the 3,000-plus years of Jewish occupation of "The Occupied Territories" and denies that Jews are indigenous to those territories with as much right to claim their land as anybody has to any other part of the earth. Palestine in its recent incarnation was partitioned twice --- once by the British in creating Transjordan (Jordan) with its Palestinian Arab majority presided over by a Hashamite refugee king from Arabia and a second time in 1947 by the United Nations, creating a second Palestinian Arab state out of "The Occupied Territories". The Zionists got what was left, which did not contain Jerusalem, a city they built and their historic capital for many centuries. The Zionists accepted this three-states-for-two-people solution, and the Arab world, which angrily opposed the U. N. resolution that did this (number 181), went to war against it. The 1847-1948 war of Arab rejection produced all those Palestinian refugees, and, in reprisal, a comparable number of Jews residing in Arab countries were throw out --- the unspoken, and unacknowledged refugees of 1948. After The Palestinian People flushed their second state, "the solution", down the toilet, Egypt and Jordan took occupational control of "The Occupied Territories" and held them for 18 years without objection from ANYBODY. You will look in vain to find any reference to an occupation during those 18 years of occupation or any objection to it. The various Palestinian "guerrilla organizations" of that time attacked Israel, inside its "1967 borders", not the Arab states occupying "The Occupied Territories". Today, as much as any time in the past, the Arab world is unwilling to accept Israel defined by ANY borders. This fact is illustrated in Arab maps of the area devoid of Israel in any shape or form. You find these maps in Hannan-Asrawri-approved text books for Palestinian Arab children along side of references to Jews as insects, apes, and monkeys. You find it at the annal Nakba celebrations at the United Nations, it wall papers the Arab world. One day before the recent Annapolis conference, the moderate chief negotiator Saeb Erekat of the moderate Palestine Authority stated publicly (in the Arabic language discourse) that they will never accept Israel as a Jewish state. THAT is the Arab-Israeli conflict, not Jews building on land Jews have occupied for more than 3,000 years. Go forth and lie about all of this. This book and a great many like will assist you in your lying.

Palestine, as it is now called has no history beyond the British. Israel, a soverign nation, offered a two state solution which was rejected by the arabs of Trans-Jordan who to this day wish only the death of a jewish state. As it is written, "I will bless them that bless thee (Israel) and I will curse them that curse thee." So be it always. The Israeli arabs choose not to live in peace with thier Jewish brothers. May God forgive them and protect Israel.
