Islam is the only non-Christian religion that believes in Jesus as a Prophet. In fact, he is respected in ways that many modern Christians deny him, such as denying the fact that he was able to give life to the dead, with Allah's permission. Where is the paring of our faiths, then? It lies in the concept of the crucifixion. Did it really happen? If so, what are the connotations of such an event? Did he really "die for our sins"? Using the Bible, Zakir Naik brings proofs in an effort to clear all misconceptions regarding the concept of crucifixion and who exactly Jesus was. If Christians claim to believe that the Bible is the word of God, it will benefit them to hear what the Bible actually says regarding this topic. We as Muslims need to know both Muslim and Christian points of view in order to understand this concept fully, as well as enable us to give more effective da'wah.

A medical doctor by profession, Dr. Zakir Naik is renowned as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religions. Dr. Zakir Naik clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam, using the Qur'an, authentic Hadith and other religious Scriptures as a basis, in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts.

Dr. Zakir is popular for his critical analysis and convincing answers to challenging questions posed by audiences after his public talks. In the last 6 years (by the year 2002), Dr. Zakir Naik has delivered more than 600 public talks in the U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, South Africa, Mauritius, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Guyana (South America) and many other countries, in addition to numerous public talks in India.

He has successfully participated in several symposia and dialogues with prominent personalities of other faiths, and appears regularly on many international T.V. Channels in more than 100 countries of the world. He is regularly invited for T.V. and Radio interviews. He has also authored numerous books on Islam and Comparative Religion.

Dr Naik doesn’t ever say anything without backing up his arguments with evidences so I suggest you first listen to what hes got to say before criticizing him. As for Jesus Christ Ive never heard Dr Naik or any other Muslim say anything bad about him because we Muslims LOVE and respect all prophets! (which includes Jesus) The only time Ive ever heard a Muslim scholar say something bad about a prophet is when they are quoting from the bible so I suggest you go and examine your own bible before telling Muslims to do it! Islam is hatred? lol take your own advice and look at history and Islamic teachings before you make such comments. Christians preach love I cant wait till the day they start practicing what they preach, The crusades were one of the most bloodiest take overs by the Christians, but when Palestine was 1st liberated by the Muslims there was no bloodshed and then later by Salahuddin from the crusaders and even non-Muslim literature quotes stories of his merciful and forgiving nature. As for Jesus or Islam I choose both we Muslims are alhamdulillah so lucky that we can do that well actually that is one of the criteria for being a Muslim that we have to believe in all the prophets that includes Jesus, his miraculous birth, his giving life to the dead with Allahs permission, his curing the leper etc I suggest you have a look at what the Muslims say about the beloved prophet Jesus before assuming we hate him!
