In this course the student will learn about the differences between the madhahab regarding fiqhi issues. Moreover, the student will understand why they differ in their rulings and which ruling would be the stronger one. 

 

Book Required:

The distinguished jurist's primer 1,2. Students only need vol. 1 for the second year but having both volumes is beneficial and the second volume is needed in the third year (semester 5 and 6). ISBN: 1-85964-139-5

 

 

Prerequisite : FIQH 1103, FIQH 1203

Credit: 3

Total Number of Video Lecture with Power Point: 21

Student MUST finish lessons in sequence; student must finish ALL the lessons before the end of the semester. Lessons will become disabled in sequence according to expiration date. 

Student must complete all the lessons, homeworks, quizes, midterm, final exam if applicable.

 

Upon completion of all the lessons student must take the final exam.
