Very practical and workable advice for those living in the West and involved in Da'wah and Islamic organisational work. An excellent mix of advice, maa sha Allah, based on Islamic sources, business/marketing studies and the speaker's own personal experiences. It should be mentioned, to its credit, this series of lectures is not an A-to-Z of arguments and counter-arguments to be used in debates (although this is touched upon towards the end), rather it is a much more comprehensive set detailing the character of the Da'ee, the makeup of an appealing organisation, the psyche of those that we are guiding, negotiation/debating tips and tricks, and lots more besides, walhamdulillah.

Muhammad AlShareef, "The Businessman" and I am not referring to only this set of cds. Check out discoverU, his latest lectures and even the conference calls he does. I think he needs to go back to University of Madinah. He has changed a lot from the first time I heard him. Now he is trying to sell each single word he says. Check out his biography on discoverU website (and I think he himself manages the website.) "..Muhammad Alshareef would eat business books for breakfast, attend premium seminars from world-class leaders for lunch, and for dinner he would run out by the lake and do his own personal power exercises. And he did this for years! Muhammad Alshareef, in addition to having a law degree and having memorized the Qur'an at a young age, is a certified personal development coach. Alshareef is certified in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), certified in Psychotherapy, and certified in Timeline therapy. Additionally, he is a graduate of world-class financial, health, and psychology mastery university programs. In late 2005, Muhammad Alshareef began coaching individuals one-on-one. His coaching was focused on taking the clients main goals and reducing the time it would take by at least 50%. Case example: one of Alshareef's clients said his goal was to make an additional 15k for his company. Within two weeks he had made 75 thousand! With a passion to share all that he has learned with you, DiscoverU became his backyard playground to develop new technologies for the community." Ya Shaikh forgive me if I am wrong and you can delete the comment anytime but its worse seeing you diverting the people to these matters and earning money from them who actually come to you to seek knowledge of Islam. Tell me if I am wrong! WARNING: (Whatever I said is my own opinion about this specific person and everyone thinks differently so I could be wrong too, Allahu A'alam.

Every era, culture and place needs different Da'awah techniques. Shaikh keeps in mind the culture, values and mind set of people living in west and then describes the ways of daawah to these people. Also he gives examples from the ahadith of Prophet sallahu alayhi wa sallam that how he gave da'awah to people of different backgrounds, different social classes and different races. An excellent CD for those who want to get their share of reward from Allah subhana wa ta'ala by doing da'awah in the west. Absolutely Loved it. and for brother who wrote the first comments: I would encourage you to listen to the whole series, you would change your mind about the scholar and the topic discussed(Inshallah) :)

An excellent set, very thorough! I especially liked the part near the end where he brainstorms on different dawah ideas, such as buying not so common books for local masjids (Such as Sahih Bukhari). I just wanted to comment on the above mentioned person's comment: I wanted to say that just because you did not necessarily agree with his emphasis on dawah techniques rather than softening the heart, that does NOT mean he is not sincere. Sincerity/ikhlas is inside the heart, and we are not the ones to judge that. Leave it to Allah, and benefit from what the sheikh gave us.

I heard first 3 cds but i felt like the lecture was more ispired by american selling techniques instead of the ways of prophet (saw). I understand that different stretegies might be needed in this era of time but I still believe that first priority should be given to the softening of hearts through describing Prophet's(saw)ways of doing daawah or by telling us the importance of doing daawah by quoting authentic ahadeeth. I couldnt go beyond 3rd CD and since then I dont feel passionate about listening Shaikh Muhammad Al-Shareef. Dont take me wrong though, I was moved by the first few lectures I heard by him, for instance importance of knowledge but now I pray Allah swt to give him more sincerity in what he is doing.
